Stuff!

I've decided I should probably update the blog! So we have had another run in with car problems. Our 4Runner decided to kill over one day, and we decided we were sick and tired of buying new motors for our cars. You know 3 motors in 9 months is a little ridiculous! So we got rid of that piece of crap and bought another car. But this time it's new, good looking, and runs fantastic! Our new Volkwagon Jetta ROCKS! We are hoping that this one lasts us for a VERY long time.
Last week we attempted to go up to the cabin. My dad bought snowmobiles so we can get up there in the snow. But apparently it isn't all that easy to get to when the road is half 2 feet of snow and half dirt. So the truck couldn't make it up there because of the snow and the snowmobiles couldn't make it up there because of the dirt. It was a disappointment when we had to turn around and go home. We never thought we would run into that problem! So maybe we can make it up there in another month or so.
A couple weeks ago I got talked into coaching softball again. I wasn't going to do it, but it turned out that my good friend from high school was going to be the head coach and she needed an assistant. So, I'm going to be stuck outside in the freezing cold, rainy, windy, spring playing softball once again. But I guess it's worth it if you love the sport.
Scott is still going to school and working. He has been really busy. He goes to work at 6 a.m., gets off at 6 p.m., and has to be in Boise at 6 p.m. and he gets home around 10! I know it sounds impossible but it seems to work. He's been a bit tired, I can see why though. Luckily he has the weekends off so he gets to catch up on homework and sleep!

Elder Riley!

Jace (Scott's brother) has been on a mission in India for about 5 months and he finally sent us some pictures! We were so excited, he would have sent us more but the computers over there are way slow so he could only send 2. We've learned a lot about India since he's been there. He's been in Chennai, India all 5 months, there are 4.5 million people in his area and only 8 missionaries and there are only 70 active members in his branch, there is a lot of work to be done!   There is no toilet paper (gross huh?), there are 3 seasons...Hot, hotter, and hottest it can get up to 115 degrees with 90% humidity! He said sometimes their door will expand so much because of the humidity that it won't open in the morning!  He finally got his first warm shower a week ago, and cows roam the streets! It sounds pretty crazy to me!

Can you spell RELIEF!?!

After 6 long and stressful months, Scott has finally found a job!!!!!!! He is now working for Simplot loading corn onto semi trucks.  My uncle was oh so very kind to give him a job. We are so excited and to top things off, the little girl I babysit is starting pre school (I wasn't too excited about that because that meant less working time for me). However,  her mom asked if I would be willing to work in her speach therapy office as a secretary 3 days a week and watch her little girl the other 2 days!!! This week has been awesome and it's only Wednesday!

UH?!

I found some more pictures!

This picture would not flip the correct way, it made me mad so I just left it this way.

The Polynesian Center. A man climbed that palm tree in like 5 seconds!

HAWAII BABY!

Well we are back from Hawaii and it was GREAT! We had so much fun! It took us 7 hours to fly there then, once we got there it took us 3 hours to get to our condo on the North Shore. It was only supposed to take us 45 minutes, needless to say, we got a bit lost. We went to Pearl Harbor, the Pineapple Plantation, the Hawaii temple, a luau, shopping down in Waikiki, a couple of flee markets, and the Polynesian Center. The beach where we were staying wasn't very warm (I know, we're in Hawaii every beach should be warm). It pretty much rained every day on our beach, so we had to pack up every day and go find a beach that was warm with no rain. We saw some flippin' huge waves, a couple see turtles napping on the beach, whales, and dolphins. We did lots of laying on the beach and boogie boarding, and a little snorkeling.

The Hawaii temple. This has to be the prettiest temple ground we have ever been to.

Scott holding a big torpedo thing at Pearl Harbor.

We dug a big hole and the stuck Haydon in it. It was quite a task trying to dig him out.

Allie and I made a sweet palm tree out of sand.

A beautiful rainbow!
We found this sea turtle hanging out on the beach. I think it was nap time.
Here we are at temple grounds.
Waiting for the luau to start.
That's my name, it's spelled wrong though.
Scott was very excited to see this store, he got one amazing hat there.
Queen Laloni's mansion.
These trees are so cool! Scott is going vine swinging!

Snow! Snow! Snow!

We have had lots of fun in the snow this past week. Scott and I have been to Bogus a couple of times and we have had fun with the snowmobiles up in the mountains.

Me going of a jump.....kinda.

Us hanging getting ready to head up to the cabin.

Scott waiting for everyone to go play in the snow.

Me striking a pose, with Scott waiting some more in the background.

Scott jumping off a jump. (I'm not so sure if you can see him, he's a bit camouflage)

The next round of pictures won't be so snowy! We are headed to Hawaii January 24th!!!!!

WE MOVED!

This past week I decided that I didn't want to live in our duplex anymore, so I found a little house with a WASHER and a DRYER! I was so stoked I couldn't pass it up! So we packed everything up and moved!

Our tiny carport...I'm not so sure what kind of car would fit under it!
Our tiny house and lots of snow! It kinda looks like a very tiny prison!
Our kitchen! I'm making some mean hamburgers on the George!
Our living room and awesome snowboards!

CHRISTMAS!!!!

So Christmas came and it was GREAT! It was a wonderful Christmas, it snowed Christmas Eve and Christmas day. Now that's what I call a WHITE Christmas!!! We got some good presents. Scott got some snowboarding goggles and he wears them around the house since we haven't had time to go snowboarding quite yet. I got Guitar Hero for my laptop and it rocks! The snow hasn't stopped falling from the sky for about 2 weeks now, so my dad decided to go buy 2 snowmobiles on Christmas Eve he couldn't resist with all this snow. Now we get to go up to the cabin in the winter time too!

Us in front of our Christmas tree.

Winter is here!

Winter is finally here! For thanksgiving we all went up to the cabin and stayed up there for a couple of nights. It was quite interesting staying up there with 11 people, the cabin isn't all that big. We shot guns, did some puzzles, and we even cut down a Christmas tree! When we got home we put up our tree and it was so UGLY! It was big and awkward and kept falling over! On one of the sides it had no branches and it wasn't much better on the other side. So, I ended up going to Walmart and buying a nice fake tree that stays standing up! This past week has been freezing, 2 weeks ago it was in the 50s, now the snow is falling and the wind is blowing! We have some massive ice sickles hanging off our house they are huge!!! There is snow all over and it's great!
The puzzle that was horrible and treacherous
Scott and Haydon shooting guns off the porch

The Christmas trees! The one on the right was ours, it doesn't look so bad now, but it was UGLY!
All of us getting ready to play a vicious game of pictionary

The fam!

We went to the cabin once again this past weekend! There was snow forecasted, so Scott thought it would be best if he brought his snowboard just in case we got snowed in. HA! Ya it did snow a bit but didn't stick all that well.  We took some family pictures while we were up there too! There are more pictures but the internet is being way slow and well....I'm not all that patient.

Haydon, Me, Allie, and Max doing an amazing pyramid

Ya, so that's all.
